IP Addresses, Ports, and Firewall Configuration

IP Addresses are the way computers are addressed on the Internet. IP Addresses typically come up in the conversation of a firewall or client configuration. SmartFile only supports IPv4 and support for IPv6 is not planned.

IP Address Range

Our servers use the following IP Address range: 209.43.40.0/24.

Ports Used

If you use a firewall to filter outbound traffic, please ensure our network is whitelisted for ports 80, 443, 21, 22, and 990, as well as FTP data ports 21000-21050.

Domains Hosted

In addition to SmartFile.com, the SmartFile service makes use of the domains static-assets.com, file.ac, and ftphosting.net.
