Troubleshooting Common Link Errors
Here are some common errors regarding share links, their possible causes and resolutions:
File or directory has been removed.
- 1.This can happen when you move a folder or file after creating a link to it.

- 2.If your site has the Admin View feature, and you attempt to create a link from the
/users
path you will always encounter this error. This is not a supported use of the Admin View feature and should be avoided.- 1.
Link has expired.
- 1.If you had a share link sent to you from someone that had an expiration data set, then you will need to contact the person directly that sent you that link to send another link.
- 2.
Maximum downloads exceeded.
- 1.If you had a share link sent to you from someone that had a download limit set, then you will need to contact the person directly that sent you that link to send another link.
- 2.If you are on a trial plan, each link is limited to 10 downloads. You can create a new link, or multiple links. There is no limit to the number of links you can create to any file or folder.
